Imagine The Lord’s Discipleship House
A half-way house where men on a journey away from alcohol or drug addiction can find…
A Half-Way House for Restoration
The Lord’s Discipleship House―a half way house on a piece of land in the Minnesota countryside, a place where men can live, counseled by a man…
- Who’s been where they have been.
- Who’s guided others just like them for years.
- Who has the training to give them the help they need.
- And whose faith in Jesus has sustained him and given him compassion and love.
The Lord’s Discipleship House: A Place that Offers
- Residential Housing
- Safe and supportive housing providing a transitional living facility for individuals in a new living environment.
- Addiction Recovery Support
- Spiritual and emotional guidance through addiction recovery programs rooted in biblical principles.
- Vocational Training & Job Placement
- Partnerships with local businesses to offer job training, resume development, and placement services.
- Counseling & Mentoring
- One-on-one counseling and group mentoring to address mental health, trauma, and spiritual growth.
- Life Skills Training
- Personal budgeting, cooking conflict resolution, and leadership training.
But the Lord’s Discipleship House is also . . .
A Christ-Centered House
- Where men will be grounded in the gospel of Jesus.
- Because any recovery must involve the healing of the soul,
- A transformation from death into life, and
- That’s only possible when we know Christ, the King of kings and Lord of lords.
- That works with similar agencies, providing much-needed continuing support.
How Can I Help?
With Your Support
Before we can fulfill our vision, we need funds. That is our first and most pressing need. Only then can we buy the land and build or buy a house on the land.
The Lord’s Discipleship House is a 501(c)(3) organization so all your contributions are tax deductible.
But you can also help…
With Your Prayers
Pray that God will bless this mission, send us the funds we need, and remove all obstacles to its success.
So won’t you please join us?
Following biblical principles and the Great Commission, The Lord’s Discipleship House will be a half-way house, a recovery house, a discipleship home, a Christ-centered house of refuge, and a faith-based transitional living facility, dedicated to help those recovering from alcohol or drug addiction.
